StudentStore/Getech Enhanced Warranty for Toshiba and Samsung Notebooks
As a student or staff member purchasing your Toshiba or Samsung Notebook under The National Desktop and Notebook Agreement, you can benefit from a significantly enhanced warranty service over and above that available elsewhere.
In addition to the three year international warranty cover provided by the manufacturer (Samsung international warranty is first year only), your StudentStore notebook is supplied with a three year collect, repair and return warranty service at either your U.K home or campus address.
This means that in the event of a warranty issue, you dont have to worry about shipping or courier charges.
Simply log your warranty call with our helpdesk (details below) and we will arrange everything for you. Your notebook will be collected, repaired under warranty and returned to you within seven working days.
The extended warranty is automatically registered on your behalf by us within 12 months of the date purchased. Toshiba and Samsung update their warranty information retrospectively so it is normal for their warranty records to initially show your laptop with only the first year covered until we advise them. This will be updated before the end of the first year.
As Getech (StudentStore is a trading division of Getech) are a Authorised Service Provider for both Toshiba and Samsung. We are able to carry out warranty repairs as well as any work that is outside warranty. As you have purchased your laptop from StudentStore we hold your warranty records on file and will be able to validate your extended warranty at any time.
